Norman N. Bein, MD, FACS
Dr Bein has been practicing as a surgeon for over 30 years. He is Board Certified by the Board of American Medical Specialties and has had extensive experience in Vascular, Thoracic and General Surgery. Additionally, he is a Registered Vascular Technician and performs all his own vascular studies.
His surgical studies were at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's in Chicago before entering the US military as a Captain in the US Army Medical Corps for two years. He completed his surgical training at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Bein, in his long professional career, has helped to establish surgical hospitals in both the Middle East and the Far East.
While Dr Bein has been performing vascular procedures for many years, recent advances in laser technology combined with his extensive experience, he is able to offer his patients state-of-the-art minimally invasive procedures. He performs and oversees many types of laser procedures in his office including treatments for varicose and spider veins, tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation.
He continues to study advances in his chosen field by attending in depth meetings with the American Venous Forum, the American College of Phlebology and the International Vein Congress.
He offers his patients freedom to enjoy their legs once again with little or no downtime. These procedures once had extensive and painful recovery ranging from weeks to months. Most of his patients now return to almost full activity the next day. He has been married to his wife and partner in his practice, Maria, for over 30 years. Together they have raised and competed German Shorthair Pointers since 1985
